Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe (/ˈqɘni/ /ˈmëqe/ [true; honest; sincere; earnest] [vagina]) is a subtropical Large City located in the Vyirukrtmakha Zone of the Engineer's Guild.

The name Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe is derived from the Sylvin language, as Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe was founded by Atelerida, who was culturaly Iron Elf.

Climate

Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe receives an average of 249 cm/y (98 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Overview

Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe was founded durring the early 16th century in spring of the year 1511, by Atelerida. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Atelerida.

Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe was built using the conventions of Iron Elf durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe is buildings are arranged arround a network of broad worn bedrock streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city is the proud owner of a proper castle-style stone wall complete with all of the trimmings. It has towers, a moat, gatehouses, drawbridges, and even merticulationsshortsizeleadershipname.. The city's perhapse unnessisarily well built defences are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the citys defences.

A quick look in any direction shows Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this city live. Or if the general public wasn’t so enthusiastically, openly, and merrily participating in these activities.

Cultural Notes

While Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe has a public leader, the real authority is hidden from outsiders. This ruler may draw their authority from rationales unacceptable to outsiders, they may have cowed the public authority into obedience, or they may have a mutually beneficial private arrangement with the official ruler.

Êkèkê Qêni-mëqe's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..
